What a lovely bunch of young people we have got for turning up on a Sunday Morning and singing their hearts out at family service. We are very proud of our great relationship with St Andrews Church and are happy to fill the front row seats on a monthly basis.

Just so you know what we do with all some of the funds we raise – we thought we would let you know that we are about to replace the horrible Heras style temporary fencing with a smart new permanent fence. This will be much safer and more secure.

Sometimes we turn up in best uniform – but at the recent Fire and Ice camp we abandoned best bib and tucker in favour of dirt, mud and filth. Those that had been to Fire and Ice Camp for years commented that it was the muddiest ever and most people went over at some point!

EuroJam 2020 to Poland

Amazingly, Dean and Jess have known each other since babes in arms..!

They have grown up together through primary school, enjoyed Scouting together, grown apart a little when departing to their respective high schools, but despite this have always remained firm friends.

Having recently received their Chief Scout Gold award together, it has been even more fabulous to congratulate them both on being selected as 2 of 6 young people who will represent Arundel and Littlehampton District at EuroJam Poland 2020!

Exploring Explorers!

At the age of 14 many keen Scouts drop out of the organisation because they do not know what to do or where to go next. This is partly because Explorer Units are not usually linked directly with groups, but are associated with the District and the budding Explorer can choose to join whichever Unit that they wish.

Although the transition could potentially feel a bit intimidating, we have good friends at a few local Explorer Units.
